The Inishowen Basking Shark Study Group research studies have always been accompanied by parallel outreach programs aimed at making such research more accessible and useful to the local communities in which the research is undertaken (visit our Project's page for more information). As they prepare to launch a number of new research projects in 2018, the group are seeking the opinion of young people in our community on how the group can best reach out to the community and give the research meaningful value locally.
The group will be visiting the five secondary schools on Inishowen during the next two weeks to listen to young people’s opinion about making our new research projects more accessible.
